With several hundred thousand pageviews a month and an established website with a loyal visitor base, the Anime Network website was an exciting project. They were looking for a complete rebrand of their website, both in design and functionality, a  greater focus on online video and user subscription, and the development of a wider online community.

The site has a powerful visual impact, aided by the strong artwork of the Anime genre. The site highlights new releases, as well as providing users with as much information as possible about popular shows and episodes, a Facebook style community, forums, a newsmash page and registration and subscription options. As much as possible, user information is provided using visual queues, to ensure as wide as possible accessibility.

The site runs on the Joomla! platform with a number of custom components and modules. Working in collaboration with the back-end developer allowed the design and functionality to move forward in tandem, which has had a positive impact on the look and feel of the site throughout the design process.

We used Fog of Eternity to help concept, visually refresh and help us implement SEO strategy to our website. Being a consumer-based site the satisfaction of our customer is very important. After the refresh we have had an overall positive response to the new look and functionality of the site. In addition, our use of social media and the SEO implementation has dramatically increased our reach and search ability. Our viewer numbers have been on a steady incline since the refreshed site launched.
