Personally (and I should clarify that I actually know nothing) I would subtract my margins first and apply the golden ratio to the rest. As you say, the difference is minimal, but the key point is that it&#039;s &lt;i&gt;barely&lt;/i&gt; noticeable, i.e. it IS noticeable. At a glance, the site looks better - I figure whatever calculations you use, you&#039;ll find one that happens to explain what you think is naturally more appealing! If you&#039;ve never read Blink (malcolm gladwell), you should.</description>
