Actually if you count Stumbleupon bookmarks then we're looking at approaching 2,000 sites that are bookmarked in one way or another. That's pretty unwieldy! The design book also gets you out of the habit of looking just to the web for inspiration (though there's a lot of great stuff online), and is far easier to simply flick through randomly.
