Hi Terence. Thanks for the comments and apologies for the delayed reply.

Certainly WordPress is something that I'm increasingly leaning towards. Though I think the incorporation of the PHP basis of WP with the asp.NET of the site might be interesting.

While I'm pleased with the extent to which I've skinned the Blogger based blog, the commenting is probably the biggest issue I have with the platform. And unfortunately the likes of Disqus which might provide an alternative option aren't set up to work with Blogger blogs hosted externally.

On the incorporation of more colour, I guess that's largely personal preference. Deliberately went for a very minimalist style, although I'm pleased with what I think is quite a strong and memorable logo. Although I always have a "playing around" version of the site which I use to mess around with different design options, so I'll have a look at some more colourful options.

Cheers

Robin

That is an interesting tools for Twitter.

Hey Robin:

I was wondering why I have never heard about free blog platform that runs on ASP.NET. Ah. Now I see that you use Blogger.

Have you ever thought about using WordPress on your Windows Server?

I like your clean blog, but I would love to see some colorful banners. :-)

I am a visual person. I sometimes click on the banners to give the author some juice though.

TC from TerenceChang.com
