A More Professional Aspect

While developing Fog of Eternity recently I’ve found myself falling between two stools, with a largely professional focus but also aspects of personal interest such as sci-fi reviews, roleplaying etc. But I’m looking at this site being a channel for professional issues and having read the excellent article ‘Why Every Freelancer Should Have A Blog‘ and discussed on that blog my aims for this site, I’ve decided to move away from personal interests on this site.

As a result I’ve made a few changes to the content focus of the site, removing the links to non-professional related blog posts and other sections. The Links section is also being rebuilt (currently in progress) to emphasise this rebranding as well. It hasn’t been a major change, 80%+ of the site and blog posts were already professionally and technically focused, but visitors can now be confident that visiting Fog of Eternity will provide them with relevant information on technical and web related subjects without potentially irrelevant material.

Of course I still want to maintain a presence on the web that relates more to my interests and hobbies, and will be developing a site and blog along those lines in the near future.
